Lange Nacht der Museen Berlin on August, 26th
The pre-sale for the "Lange Nacht der Museenhas begun, because on 26.8.23 it's that time again! 750 events are planned from 6 pm to 2 am, as always, a varied program awaits all visitors. With the ticket of the "Lange Nacht der Museen" you could theoretically experience about 750 events in 75 participating museums across the city - you are spoiled for choice!
Those who take the shuttle buses for example can follow the “Art and Music” route for a night. According to the chosen theme the bus stops among other museums at the Käthe Kollwitz Museum or Charlottenburg Palace. A real event on the “History of Technology” route, are the historic vintage buses, which take visitors from the Museum of Technology, which is located right next to our Grimm’s Hotel Potsdamer Platz, to the Energy Museum in Steglitz.
The ticket for the “Lange Nacht der Museen” includes a 10 euro voucher from the “Jelbi app”, too – this allows you to travel short distances individually and quickly in addition to public transport – leaving you more time to look around the city’s many museums.
This year’s partner of the “Lange Nacht der Museen” is the Kultursommerfestival. Part of their programm is a large open-air festival during that evening/night, which will take place in front of Altes Museum, around Schloßplatz and Lustgarten, as well as in the Kolonnadenhof in front of the Alte Nationalgalerie.
